Rome Memorial Hospital, Mohawk Valley Radiation Medicine and Linda Schicker, M.D. invite cancer survivors to the annual Survivors’ Breakfast on Saturday, May 20 in Rome Memorial Hospital’s cafeteria, 1500 N. James St.

“Our cancer survivors share the inspirational story of hope, courage and strength,” explained Director Amy Weakley, radiation therapist and certified medical dosimetrist at Mohawk Valley Radiation Medicine. “This breakfast is our opportunity to celebrate their stories and how their experiences bind them together in the fight against cancer.”

Each survivor is encouraged to bring one guest. Breakfast will be served from 8 – 11 a.m.

The morning will include a delicious, varied breakfast buffet menu and a gift, compliments of Mohawk Valley Radiation Medicine. Guests may also bring a favorite book that helped give them strength and encouragement to share with others at a book exchange table.

Seating is limited and advance reservations are required. Please contact Amy Weakley, Mohawk Valley Radiation Medicine, 315-338-0897, before 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 9. A personal invitation is not required.
