    Multiple agencies validate Rome Memorial Hospital’s commitment to the highest standards of quality.

    Rome Memorial Hospital is accredited by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program, which is authorized by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to validate our compliance with federal standards.

    Our MRI, CT and digital mammography services achieved accreditation by the American College of Radiology, the gold standard in imaging accreditation.

    Our Breast Center is a certified participant in the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers Program, which recognizes facilities that are dedicated to high standards of excellence.

    Our Sleep Disorders Center achieved accreditation by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine in recognition of the center’s adherence to quality standards.

    We received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get with the Guidelines Gold Performance Achievement Award for Heart Failure in recognition of our efforts to follow the latest scientific guidelines.

    Our efforts to protect patients from hospital-acquired infections have been recognized by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Rome Memorial Hospital was the smallest of eight hospitals in the nation to be recognized as an “outstanding leader” in eliminating life-threatening blood stream infections. It’s an impressive record that we’ve maintained since December 2006.
