• Chestnut Commons Physical and Occupational Therapy temporarily relocates to hospital campus

    Chestnut Commons Physical and Occupational Therapy is temporarily relocating to the rehabilitation suite at Rome Memorial Hospital, 1500 N. James St. effective Monday, April 20.

    For convenience, patients should use the Bartlett Entrance which is located on Oak Street to access the suite, which is located on the ground floor of the hospital. Physical and occupational therapists will be available by appointment Monday-Friday, 8 am and 4 pm.

    “We are making this move to enable us to consolidate and centralize our therapy staff to a single location,” said Rena Hughes, PT, Cert. MDT, director of business development at Rome Memorial Hospital.

    The practice offers individualized therapy programs including: treatment for athletic injuries, post-operative conditions, relief from back and neck disorders including disc herniation and sciatica, arthritis, hand injuries, enhancement of mobility and independent living for neurological conditions, tools to master daily living, craniosacral therapy for chronic pain conditions and more.
