Rome Health Executive Team

    AnneMarie Walker-Czyz, RN, Ed.D.,NEA-BC, President/Chief Executive Officer
    AnneMarie Walker-Czyz, RN, Ed.D., NEA-BC, was named President/Chief Executive Officer of Rome Health, effective March 1, 2021. Employed at St. Joseph’s Health Hospital since 1997, she served as the Chief Nursing Office, Vice President of Clinical and Educational Services and Chief Operating Officer before joining Rome Health.

    She earned her nursing degree from the St. Joseph’s College of Nursing and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University. She also holds a Master of Science and Clinical Nurse Specialist degree from Upstate Medical University. In 2015, she graduated from St. John Fisher College earning an Education Doctorate degree in Executive Leadership. Research areas of interest have been in the impact of innovation adoption on quality and cost in nursing care. She is also certified as a Nurse Executive from the ANCC.

    Her passions lie in the promotion of Shared Governance and promoting nursing leadership at the point of care delivery, transforming acute care services to be consistent with the overall strategy for health care reform and developing multidisciplinary teams to achieve higher quality, safety, and patient engagement at a lower cost.

    Ryan Thompson 
     Ryan Thompson, Vice President of Operations

    A graduate of LeMoyne College, Syracuse, Ryan earned his Master of Business Education from Colombia College of Missouri. He has earned certificates in strategic planning from Cornell and project management from Syracuse University. He joins RMH with nearly a decade of leadership experience at St. Joseph's Health, where he was integrally involved in strategic planning, expansion and optimization of strategic service lines. He was named Vice President of Operations in 2020.

      Cristian Andrade 
    Cristian Andrade, MD, Vice President/Chief Medical Officer

    Dr. Andrade completed his residency in family medicine at St. Joseph’s Health, where he was a member of the medical staff for more than 18 years. He cared for patients as a hospitalist for many years before accepting progressive leadership responsibilities, most recently serving as Vice President of Medical Affairs in Syracuse. He joined Rome Health in December 2021.

    Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Andrade earned his medical degree at University of Medical & Dental of New Jersey, New Brunswick, NJ. In 2019, he completed the Advanced Executive Leadership for Physicians training at Cornell University.

    Dewey R. Rowlands, Vice President/Chief Financial Officer

    Dewey received his bachelor’s degree from Utica College. He joined the hospital’s staff as its Chief Financial Officer in 2014 bringing with him more than 32 years of experience in healthcare finance.  

        Kristen Cumoletti   
    Kristen Cumoletti, MSN, RN, Interim Vice President Clinical Services/Chief Nursing Officer 

    Kristen joined Rome Health as interim Chief Nursing Officer in December 2021.

    Kristen retired from St. Joseph’s Health in August 2021 and brings with her more than 20 years of senior level clinical experience. Kristen’s leadership as Associate and Interim Chief Nursing Officer at St. Joseph’s was instrumental in supporting the nursing team in navigating the evolving demands of the pandemic. In her roles as clinical director of the Critical Care and Cardiovascular Service Line at St. Joseph’s, STEMI Coordinator at SUNY Research Foundation in Rensselaer and AMI Facilitator at St. Peter’s Hospital, she fostered an environment of collaboration to support the delivery of evidence-based care.

    Kristen earned a Master of Science degree in nursing administration from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Russell Sage College in Troy and received her nursing degree from Maria College in Albany.

      Burns Scott  Scott Burns, RPh, Vice President/Chief Quality Officer 

    A 2000 graduate of Northeastern University, Scott joined Rome Memorial Hospital as a staff pharmacist in 2008 after working in the retail pharmacy sector for eight years. He was promoted to Director of Pharmacy in 2010 and Interim Vice President/Chief Quality Officer in 2021. 

       Charles Lewis 
    Charles A. Lewis, Administrator Residential Health Care Facility
    Charles A. Lewis joined Rome Health in 2022, bringing with him 20 years of experience as a licensed nursing home administrator, most recently serving as the administrator of Sunset Nursing Home in Boonville. Previously, he owned and operated the Lewis House in Westmoreland for over 20 years. He has a master’s degree in health services administration.
    Cassie Evans Winter, Vice President Communications/Marketing

    Cassie received her bachelor's degree in sociology from Texas A & M University, College Station, Texas. A former reporter, she joined the hospital’s staff in 1998 as the public relations manager. She was promoted to public relations director in 2002 and named Assistant Vice President Communications/Marketing in 2006. In 2012, she was promoted to Vice President Communications/Marketing.
